From Despair to Deliverance
Pastor Arnold De Guzman

Testifying God's Goodness
Has the Lord redeemed you? If yes, don’t keep it to yourself. Tell people how God saved you from your struggles. Have you ever felt lost? Have you felt empty and alone inside? Like, you have no clear direction? These things happen because of a rebellious heart. We can’t live well without God. In our pain, we cry out, “Lord, I can’t handle this anymore.” That is when we admit we need Him.
God is good, all the time!

BENEFITS OF TRUE CONFESSION AND REPENTANCE
When we truly confess and repent, we receive many blessings. First, it humbles us and reminds us that we need God. It also helps us avoid the temptations of the world and focus more on God. Our prayers become stronger and full of faith. We experience God’s love, forgiveness, and help more clearly. Repentance teaches us to trust God every day. We learn to follow His will, not just our own. Best of all, we become more kind and caring toward others who are also hurting.
“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
Pastor Jun Rodis

THE WRATH OF GOD
Faith and obedience go hand in hand. When we choose to doubt God’s promises and focus on our fears, we risk missing out on His blessings. Complaining and rebellion only lead to delay, disappointment, or even destruction. But when we trust in God—especially in uncertain times—we honor Him and walk into the good things He has prepared for us.

A Desperate Prayer
True worship is not about always being cheerful or full of energy—it’s about being honest before God. Psalm 88 is one of the rawest, most sorrowful chapters in the Bible. It shows us that even our darkest emotions and desperate cries have a place in our worship. Sometimes we think that we must always come to God with joy and strength. But real worship happens when we come to God just as we are—hurting, broken, confused, or weak.

Trip to Jerusalem
Our life is a journey drawing us closer to God. On this journey, we must listen, obey, and live according to His will. Let’s love Him, trust Him, and put Him first in everything. This journey also includes loving others, forgiving, and caring for people. Let’s be thankful, pray always, and read the Bible regularly. And let’s not be ashamed to share Jesus with others.
Elder Emil Gonzales
