Romans 11:29 says, “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”
This couple believes and experiences this truth. While both were educated to become engineers, the Lord trained them in the marketplace and in their businesses to lead and try to develop people to their full potential. They started training for the Lord’s ministry through Vacation Bible Schools that they used to hold in their former residence in Mahogany Homes, Bagumbayan, Taguig City. Their training in winning and discipling people continued in the small group from Pastor Jun’s former employer (Allegro Microsytems Inc.) in Paranaque Ciity.
In 2003, Pastor Tito Pel requested Jun to be the Officer-In-Charge of the pastors of Christ’s Church in Makati. He needed to return to the United States of America to be with his wife to take care of her mother who had a debilitating illness. From then on, Pastor Jun became a bi-vocational pastor for the church.
In 2009, the economic situations and the pressure of doing two big roles, as a Director of Operations for a multinational company based in Cavite became a huge challenge for him. He opted to retire early and go to fulltime pastoral ministry.
Today, the couple leads the church toward the vision that the Lord implanted in the hearts of the team of CCM leaders. The Lord enables them to pursue the vision while maintaining the role as parents, grandparents and entrepreneurs. They maintain and continue to expand the small businesses that support the livelihood of several families in Taguig and surrounding cities.
