3rd Quarter 2025

September Sermon Theme

The Lord wants us to be still and listen to the word at His feet. Not just listening, but having intimacy with Him.

REFLECTIONS

Who was or is a good neighbor to you?
  2. Ano-ano ang mga nagawa niyang mabuti?  What are the good things that he/she did?

  3. Kanino ka nagiging mabuting kapitbahay ngayon?   To whom are you being a good neighbor?

REFLECTIONS

REFLECTIONS

  1. Ministry is both a privilege and a responsibility. What or where is the harvest field that you feel Jesus had entrusted to you?

  2. Of the privileges that you have now, what is one that you are enjoying and is thankful for?

August Sermon Theme

REFLECTIONS

  1. Have I ever postponed an opportunity to follow Christ because I was waiting for the “perfect” moment? What was the outcome?
  2. In what areas of my life have I ignored the Holy Spirit’s prompting? Why do I think I’ve delayed responding to His guidance?
  3. What does it mean to follow Christ in His time, rather than waiting for my own “ideal” circumstances?
  4. Is there any area of my life where I am waiting for a more convenient time to surrender fully to God? How can I begin now?
  5. What does the phrase “obedience postponed is obedience withheld” mean to me personally?
  6. How can I stay alert to God’s timing and avoid missing His movement in my life?

REFLECTIONS

  1. What is your mission in life other than meeting your needs? How does God’s kingdom fit in?
  2.  How do you describe “greatness” when you were still a child? How do you describe it now as an adult?

REFLECTIONS

  1. In your own discipleship journey, what helps you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus when life gets noisy or difficult?

  1. Which “critical issue” from this passage—distraction, comfort-seeking, or neglecting God’s voice—do you most need to confront, and how will you   address it this week?

REFLECTIONS

  1. Who do you say Jesus is?       (Sino ang sinasabi mong si Hesus?)
  1. What worldly gains or comforts might be hindering your full surrender to Jesus?

REFLECTIONS

  1. How are you learning to trust God while living out your mission as a disciple?
  1. Are you willing to give up comfort to answer God’s call to serve others?

July Sermon Theme

To understand and accept that effective ministries are achieved through intentionality and godly purpose.

REFLECTIONS

  • When have you been as desperate as Jairus and the bleeding woman?
  • What did you do at that time?
  • What is happening in your life now that we can pray for or thank God for?

REFLECTIONS

  • What storm needs calming?
  • What chain needs breaking?
  • Where is your mission field?

REFLECTIONS

Where are you in the story?

  • The hard-hearted. Stubborn soul who has no interest in spiritual things?
  • The shallow soil of superficial seeker?
  • The busy, pre-occupied believer?
  • The productive, persevering disciple?
